My new project. Because the old plan sucked anyways.

Summer has come and gone, and now it's time to pull out the Canada Goose jackets again.
I've been giving my career and blog a lot of thought this past summer - switching jobs, and trying to find a way to balance my work, personal and blog life altogether. It's an ongoing art that I'm trying to master, but I'd like to give the blog a makeover and start anew.

Though bullying might seem like a rite of passage for some, it's actually not. It’s serious.
I love that Pinkshirtday.ca supports such an incredible cause because the reality is that everyone experiences this in some way – high school, at work, people talking behind your back, and even cyber bullying.
Thinking back, I was bullied in junior high. I remember feeling like less of a person, and found myself constantly asking if it would ever get better. I couldn’t see what 10 years later would look like.
If you’re reading this and you feel like you’re a victim of bullying, just know that it does get better. I promise.
Seek help from those who understand, surround yourself with positive people, and give yourself the space you need to keep your sanity in check.
It’s inevitable to control how other people treat you, but it’s in your court to control how you react.
You know who you are, and when you look back at today, you will be surprised by your own strength to withstand.
This thought is what will ultimately carry you through.
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

Have you met Megan? She's my old roommate. Oh and did I mention she's 5'11?
We had an interesting would-you-rather debate: Would you rather be really short or tall?
To be honest, it's not easy being either of them.
Finding the perfect pair of pants is next to impossible. Being 5'1 is not exactly the ideal height for jeans!
Ironically, tall people have their share of dilemmas too - clothing being too short.
So then who wins in the end?
Well, there are now brands that have acknowledged our differences and offer pieces that cater to all body shapes and sizes.
You don't have to compromise on a bigger waist size for a longer length, or shop in the kids section for shorter pants (just kidding).
With a little bit of research, you can find the right pieces for your body and save yourself a wardrobe malfunction.
Believe me, there is hope and they do exist! Happy shopping everyone!
